In order to port your number to Mediacom Mobile, it’s necessary to remove the Number Lock first. When a Number Lock is active on your line, your phone number cannot be transferred to another carrier until the lock is removed.
To remove a Number Lock, contact your current carrier and request the removal of the Number Lock. It’s important to note that a Number Lock is different from a Device Lock.
