The duration relies on how promptly your previous mobile carrier processes the request. While we wait for your carrier to release your phone number, your old mobile service will continue without interruption.

Important: Only cancel your previous mobile service after you have successfully activated Mediacom Mobile. Cancelling your service before becoming active on Mediacom Mobile may result in losing your phone number.
