If you’re ready to port your number, please follow these steps:
1. Verify Account Status: Before starting the port-out process, confirm that your Mediacom Mobile account is not locked.
2. Contact Mediacom Mobile Customer Care Team: Call the Mediacom Mobile Customer Care at 855-699-6655 to request porting out your number.
3. Receive Transfer Details: During the process, a 6-digit transfer PIN along with other port out details such as phone number, Zip code and Account Reference Number will be sent to your registered email address.
4. Share with New Carrier: Use the port out details and transfer PIN to transfer your number to your new carrier. The transfer PIN is valid for only 24 hours from the time it is generated. If you do not use this PIN within the given timeframe, you will need to request a new one.
5. Finalize the Port Out: Once all necessary steps are completed, you will receive an email confirming the successful port out from Mediacom Mobile. Ensure your account remains unlocked until you receive this confirmation email.
